It has been 20 years from this day that the Optus B3 satellite has been launched, and to date, it is still in service with two frequencies being used for feeds while in a 4.7 degree inclined orbit.
The Optus 10 will replace this satellite after launch and positioning on or about September 11, and it will be positioned at 164 degrees East, where Optus B3 is.
