Eee PC Owner Stamp

Description

Are you the proud owner of an Asus Eee PC? I am.

Seeing one at a local junk shop (I originally declined, because the screen was cracked, then I decided to get it, only finding out that someone else got it) prompted me to get an Eee PC from eBay in working condition at a good price.
There are a lot of "no-name" netbooks which have an ARM architecture and only run Windows CE 6.0 or Linux (there are a few no-name netbooks with an x86 or x64 architecture), but I decided on a brand-name unit.
I peformed several upgrades (eventually turning out to be successful), which were:

* Dual band Wireless-N (the Mini-PCI Express card was upgradeable)
* An extended life battery
* A large internal CompactFlash SSD (the adaptor had bad soldering, which was easily fixed - I once thought the card was not compatible with the BIOS!)
* Bluetooth (internal - for use with a GPS which can be placed anywhere within Bluetooth range to get a good GPS signal and for transmitting audio into a Bluetooth-compatible automotive audio system) - I made it switch on and off with the wireless card, which can be turned on and off.
* and even a digital TV tuner (internal of course, with the antenna socket fitted on the removed modem socket).

I managed to retain the functionality of the three external USB ports without the need for an internal USB hub board.

If you are a proud Asus Eee PC owner, please feel free to use this stamp, but be sure to give credit to me.

Who would want to be a proud owner of a low-end notebook? The only thing those computers are good for is using Linux.
